New Article Publication at Creativity and Innovation Management

Our chair is excited to share the latest research, just published in Creativity and Innovation Management "From Intention to Behaviour: How Individual Entrepreneurial Orientation and Job Fit Influence Employee Intrapreneurship in SMEs"

We are pleased to announce the publication of a new research article by Philipp Köhn, Sven Wolff, Philipp J. Ruf, Petra M. Moog, and Giuseppe Strina in the journal   Creativity and Innovation Management .

The article, titled "From Intention to Behaviour: How Individual Entrepreneurial Orientation and Job Fit Influence Employee Intrapreneurship in SMEs", investigates how individual-level entrepreneurial orientation and perceived job fit contribute to intrapreneurial behaviour within small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Drawing on the theory of planned behaviour, the study finds that entrepreneurial intent significantly predicts intrapreneurial action, and that job fit—particularly person–organization and demands–abilities fit—moderates this relationship. This research contributes to a more nuanced understanding of individual intrapreneurship and offers practical implications for SME management, particularly in the areas of recruitment, organizational alignment, and innovation strategy.
