Project Description 

The Urban Innovation Hub, Germany, aims to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the retail, gastronomy, and leisure sectors by providing access to cutting-edge digital technologies and fostering collaboration with academic and research institutions.

Technological Innovations:

The lab showcases a variety of new technologies such as Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and 3D applications. These innovations are demonstrated through interactive exhibits and prototypes, allowing businesses to explore their practical applications.

Collaborative Environment:

The Future Lab creates an interaction space where businesses can engage with researchers and experts to develop and test new ideas. Regular workshops, presentations, and networking events facilitate knowledge exchange and collaboration.

Support for SMEs:

Key partners include the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering IAO, Konstanz and Furtwangen Universities, the Institute for SME Management (itb), and the Research and Innovation Center for Cognitive Service Systems (KODIS).
