Philipp-Julian Ruf studied business administration at the University of Siegen. He is a research fellow of the SME Graduate School and a senior researcher at the Chair for Service Development in SMEs and Crafts. Next to holding the Dirlmeier Award for outstanding Dissertations, he received numerous best paper awards in the field of business administration. In his research, he focuses on values and psychological aspects, influencing the behavior of family CEOs and their impact on behavior, leadership, performance, and entrepreneurial orientation of the family firm.
