Michael Mies
Michael Mies is a management consultant and project manager in the Risk & Compliance practice at KPMG AG in Cologne and specializes in consulting and strategic transformation of risk management and internal audit functions for family firms and multinational listed companies. Michael has several years of experience advising Fortune 500 and Dax 30 clients in the automotive, energy, chemical and financial service industry.
Michael holds a Master of Science degree in Controlling and Risk Management as well as Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Banking & Finance and Auditing from the University of Siegen. He is an adjunct lecturer at FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management and a referent at KPMG Business School.
During his undergraduate and graduate studies, he was a tutor for cost accounting at the Chair of Management Accounting and Control, a tutor for accounting and financial statements at the Chair of Business Auditing and Taxation and a student research assistant at the
University of Siegen Business School.
