Nils Aurel Niehues

Nils started his PhD 2014 as an external PhD candidate at the University of Siegen. He holds a Diploma (FH) in Business Informatics (FOM Essen), Diploma (DH) in Business Adminstration (Duale Hochschule Baden Württemberg), Bachelor of Arts in International Management (Hogeschool Zealand, NL) and Business Andministration (Open University of London, UK). Nils started his career at Deutsche Post DHL after high school with a dual Bachelor program. After several stations in the finance area Nils was part of the group wide carbon accounting program. Since 2008 Nils focusses on different issues in the area of carbon accounting. His research interest is in quantifying the regulatory risk of carbon transport emissions, Carbon Accounting & Auditing, Integrated Reporting and everything around the business case for CSR.
