VitaSven Mallach received a diploma in
Computer Science (with a minor in
economics) at the Technical University of
Dortmund. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer
Science that he received in 2015 from the
Unversity of Cologne, where he has been a
research assistant and associate, as well
as an interim professor for discrete
optimization in 2019. In advance to the
latter appointment, he was also attested
achievements equivalent to a habilitation.
In 2020, he joined the University of Bonn
as a research fellow. Starting from
April 2024 and until August 2025, Sven
Mallach
led the chair of Management Science at
the School of Economic Disciplines of the
University of Siegen.
Since September 2025, he leads the chair
of Network and Data Science Management
as an interim professor.
