Vita

Sven Mallach received a diploma in Computer Science (with a minor in economics) from the Technical University of Dortmund, and a Ph.D. from the Department of Mathematics & Computer Science of the Unversity of Cologne, where he has been a research assistant and associate, as well as an interim professor for discrete optimization in 2019. In advance to the latter appointment, he was also attested achievements equivalent to a habilitation. In 2020, he joined the University of Bonn as a research fellow. Starting from April 2024 and until August 2025, Sven Mallach led the chair of Management Science at the School of Economic Disciplines of the University of Siegen. Since September 2025, he leads the chair of Network and Data Science Management as an interim professor.
