Eshari Withanage

She is assisting the Chair of Business Administration, Accounting and Corporate Governance at the University of Siegen from the year 2013. She has obtained Master of Business Administration (University of Wales – United Kingdom), Bachelor of Arts specialized in Finance (University of Colombo – Sri Lanka), Associated Charted Management Accountant (ACMA - United Kingdom) and Chartered Global management Accountant (CGMA – United States). After completing the bachelors’ degree, started her career as a Management Trainee at Dialog Axiata – Sri Lanka which is a subsidiary of Axiata Group Berhad - Malaysia. Upon completing the trainee program she worked as a Senior Executive – Funding and Loan Portfolio Management in Group Corporate Finance. Later she joined IBM World Trade Corporation – Sri Lanka and worked as Senior Executive. Afterwards she was employed as an Assistant Manager – Customer Value Management and Loyalty, in Etisalat Lanka Private Limited – Sri Lanka, which is a subsidiary of Etisalat Group – UAE. Her research interest is in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
