Seminar Announcement and Application
If you are interested in participating in the seminar (Master students only), please send Michel Kusche (michel.kusche@uni-siegen.de) an email by September 30 and indicate your topic preference. Rank your first three preferences. In case more than a single student has a preference for the same topic, we will allocate the topic randomly, and will allocate another topic according to the student’s preference ranking. In case there are more than 12 interested students, we will allocate the slots in line with guidelines of the University. To this end, please also provide information on the semester you are in and information on the number of remaining credits you require to complete your degree (screenshot of your examination record).
We will provide you with a preliminary assignment of a topic by October 2. You will then have to register irrevocably with the examination office by October 15. (Note that this registration implies that not participating in the seminar/not handing in a seminar paper will automatically result in a failing grade.) After you have registered with the examination office you need to directly send Michel Kusche another email with a screenshot of your registration. Only this will guarantee you your place. Students who have not sent such an email by October 16 to Michel Kusche will lose their place. Their topic will be allocated to other students in case there has been excess demand.
